Oaxaca

We arrived safe and sound in Oaxaca a few days ago now and we can’t get enough of the place. Oaxaca is very beautiful, colourful place with endless cafe bars, restaurants, artisan shops and generally just a feeling of home. It’s a fairly bohemian city, with only the occasional armed policeman on street corners. We are staying in a very nice, basic hotel at the grand price of £24 a night so we are more than happy. It even has a rooftop where I can pop out the yoga mat ๐Ÿ˜. Ordering food is our biggest downfall, and apart from knowing that Tristan’s meal is vegetarian, who knows what we are going to get. All we know is that it’s going to combine beans, avocado, and chicken with some beautiful spicy salsas in a corn something or other (taco, tortilla etc) for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Needless to say, the boys are craving their usual good ol’ English breakfast cereal, and I must say we are a little too. The boys are also a little fed up with having their heads blown off with the spicy food ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Next stop…. a hire a car for a few days for a bit of freedom from the backpacker trail.
